Membership Terms & Conditions  


The EACD membership is personal, even if invoiced to the employer, and covers one year from the date of purchase*. 

We require your personal information to ensure that you fully benefit from the exclusive member benefits and that you always receive relevant information and materials from the EACD.

*Please note that if you renew your membership before or after its annual expiration date, your membership will remain active for the entire year starting on the date you originally joined the EACD.

Membership Fee  


The annual fee to join the EACD community is 200 €(EUR) + VAT if applicable. 

Based on Article 45 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC an invoice is eligible for VAT exemption if the billed customer is a legal person residing in the EU. VAT exemption can only be applied if a valid and eligible VAT number is provided. We use the VIES VAT number validation to check all provided VAT numbers.

  • The rule does not apply to transactions within a member state, in this case, Belgium.
  • An exception to this rule is non-taxable legal entities, e.g. government agencies or EU institutions. In case your company is eligible for this exemption, please provide us with a document showing the tax-exempt status.
  • Should the billing address be outside of the EU, VAT does not apply.

We strongly suggest proceeding with the payment of the EACD membership fee by credit card payment. Should you wish to proceed with the payment by Wire Transfer, we kindly ask you to do so within 30 days of receiving the invoice. 

Should you have selected the auto-renewal membership and want to cancel your membership, you can do so by cancelling the auto-billing in your profile. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@eacd-online.eu


Payment & Renewal Scheme


There are two membership types with different renewal options.

  • The one-year membership: The renewal process is not automatic; the EACD will invite you to renew your membership once it approaches its expiry date or you can renew it yourself by signing into your EACD account.  
  • The automatic renewal membership: Only available for credit card payment. Your credit card details will be kept safely in your profile and used to auto-renew your membership every 1-year cycle. You can cancel the auto-billing at any time in your profile. 

The payment will be operated by the Payment provider. EACD will not keep, process, or even have access in any way to your Payment data.

The payment will be processed in a secured way (SSL) through the Payment interface of the Payment provider. EACD will use the Payment provider’s Paysafe interface and will always comply with the current PCI-DSS rules.
